Role Overview
- Ensure recycled metals meet customer and regulatory quality standards through rigorous testing and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute QC test plans per ISO9001 standards.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products; record and analyze data.
- Calibrate and maintain lab instruments; ensure traceability.
- Collaborate in root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
SMART KPIs
- First Pass Yield: ≥98% per production batch.
- Customer Rejections: <1% defect rate in shipments.
- Calibration Compliance: 100% instruments calibrated on schedule.
- Corrective Actions: Resolve ≥90% of NCRs within 30 days.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or related.
- 5 years’ QC experience, including 2 in manufacturing.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in SPC and quality management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
