Job Description
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager to lead and execute key components of the Digital Future Initiative (DFI). This includes overseeing digital literacy programs, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and tracking learning outcomes. The role requires strong project management capabilities and a solid background in education technology or youth-centered tech initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of all DFI project components across schools, communities, and learning hubs
- Coordinate training sessions for digital facilitators, teacher trainers, and volunteers
- Oversee logistics and execution of digital literacy programs, bootcamps, hackathons, and demo days
- Manage project timelines to ensure goals are delivered on time and within scope
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with tech partners, community leaders, and stakeholders
- Monitor learner performance through analytics, feedback tools, and surveys
- Identify and manage project risks and support troubleshooting efforts
- Maintain detailed documentation including reports, assessments, and communication materials
- Collaborate with M&E team to compile impact reports and success stories
- Supervise facilitators and interns involved in the DFI project
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Education Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in coordinating digital education or youth development projects
- Understanding of digital literacy, STEM, AI, and emerging technologies
- Experience working with youth or in underserved communities is an advantage
- Strong project management skills and experience with scheduling, budgeting, and coordination
- Proficient in tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project platforms such as Trello, Asana, or Notion
- Technical knowledge in one or more areas like coding (HTML, Python, JavaScript), robotics, or data science
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior volunteer experience with Slum2School (minimum 2 years) is a strong asset
