They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pipeline Supervisor

Location: Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Construction Manager

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the supervision of mechanical inspection activities for the Piping and Pipeline construction.
  • Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures in the section and company in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Tracks, report project progress and quality.
  • Responsible to Liaison with other department for Permit to Work System and job front requirements.
  • Assists in preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Measurement Certification of the contractor.
  • Ensuring suitable deployment of manpower & timely availability of manpower and Equipment’s / materials to ensure timely execution of the projects.
  • Good Knowledge of reading Pipeline Drawings, Isometric, P&ID and GA drawings.
  • Monitoring of Hydro Test activities of pipeline / Piping.
  • Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of pipeline.
  • Stage Inspection in fabrication of Pipe Spools like, Weld-edge preparation, fit-up, Weld Inspection.
  • Execution of all types of pipeline activities such as weld visual ,NDT and coating.
  • Manpower and re-Sources allotment based on job requirements.
  • Having Basic Knowledge of Electrical, civil, Instrumentation etc
  • Monitors work in progress and prepares weekly report of the status of each assignment.
  • Ensuring all procedures and SOP are followed by contractor at site.
  • Coordinates materials and assists in the logistics, its shipment and receipt at construction site.
  • Coordinates with all project related personnel on day-today progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Measurement Certification of the contractor.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experienced in Pipeline Supervision and construction in Nigeria or neighbouring countries.
  • Possess the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple work fronts with multiple stakeholders.
  • Shall be capable of managing fabrication and erection contractors.
  • Liaison with Fabrication and Erection Contractors, Engineering team and Vendors, Site - HSE Team.
