Job Overview

Our client is looking for experienced reservoir engineers to support their portfolio of oil & gas reservoir assets.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead collaborative projects with engineers on teams to analyze field performance and advise on improving recovery
  • Proactively engage with business stakeholders to address challenges, deliver solutions, drive process improvements
  • Lead engineering teams and provide effective guidance to team members
  • Develop technical capabilities of team members through training and coaching
  • Integrate with adjacent disciplines such as wells, development planning, geoscience, etc. to implement field development plans
  • Drive team engagement with technical experts to generate insights based on analysis of data, analytical & numerical models

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Petroleum / Chemical / Mechanical / other relevant Engineering disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering concepts
  • Strong fundamental understanding/experiences in fluid mechanics, porous media flow, and computational fluid dynamics
  • Experience with Engineering Applications such as IPM, Eclipse, Petrel RE, Intersect or CMG
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Reservoir Engineering
  • Experience in leading teams and integrated reservoir projects
  • Experience in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of reservoir development
