Job Description
The Media Executive will play a vital role in developing engaging visual content and managing the organization’s social media presence. The ideal candidate should be proactive and highly creative, with a solid grasp of content trends, digital storytelling, and visual production tools.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling:
- Create and edit high-quality videos, reels, short documentaries, and photo stories
- Design social media posts, infographics, posters, and presentations
- Collaborate with program teams to document activities and success stories
- Assist in developing newsletters, brochures, and media kits
Social Media Management:
- Manage content across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Schedule posts and monitor engagement analytics
- Respond to messages and engage with the audience in the brand’s voice
Media Coverage & Coordination:
- Cover events, campaigns, and interviews (video, photo, livestreams)
- Coordinate with media outlets and internal teams for content distribution
- Organize and manage a media asset library
Support & Collaboration:
- Work closely with communications and project teams on campaigns
- Participate in planning awareness efforts and fundraising activities
- Keep up with digital trends and suggest engagement strategies
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in digital media or content creation
- Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
- Strong design skills with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva
- Good understanding of social media platforms and content strategy
- Photography and videography experience is an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
