Brief Job Overview

  • We are seeking a professional and experienced Male Chef to provide top-quality culinary services for high-level executives.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of continental, intercontinental, and pastry dishes, while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, hygiene, and nutrition.
  • This role requires creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of diverse cuisines tailored to executive preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for the executive
  • Cook and present a wide range of continental and intercontinental dishes, including but not limited to African, Asian, Mediterranean, and European cuisines.
  • Prepare assorted pastries, baked goods, and desserts as requested.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized meal plans that align with dietary needs and preferences.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area at all times.
  • Source and manage quality ingredients, ensuring freshness and availability.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and manage kitchen inventory.
  • Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
  • Innovate and introduce new recipes regularly to enhance the dining experience.
  • Supervise kitchen assistants or support staff where applicable.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a personal or executive chef.
  • Strong expertise in continental, intercontinental, and pastry preparation.
  • A certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is an advantage.
  • Excellent understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Professional, discreet, and respectful of confidentiality.
  • Flexible and available to work weekends or extended hours when necessary.
  • Must be based in Lagos or willing to relocate.
