Your CV should demonstrate a solid track record in bakery operations management. List your experience with bread and pastry production, and be specific about the scale, whether you’ve handled small artisanal batches or large-scale commercial output. Include any operational improvements you’ve made, such as reducing waste, increasing efficiency, or improving product consistency.
Show your leadership experience. This role involves managing production staff, coordinating with sales, and ensuring smooth workflows. If you’ve trained teams, developed SOPs, or implemented quality control systems, highlight these achievements clearly.
Emphasize your regulatory knowledge. Employers will value your ability to liaise with NAFDAC or other food industry authorities, so mention any certifications, inspections you’ve passed, or compliance systems you’ve overseen.

In your cover email, show that you understand both the technical and business sides of bakery production, this balance will set you apart from other applicants.
