Job Description
- We are looking for a qualified Carpenter to cut, fabricate, and install wooden and other structures according to specifications.
- Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products
Responsibilities
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp the requirements
- Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
- Cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurement
- Assembling the piece and affixing parts together.
Requirements
- High School Diploma. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a carpenter.
- Additional certification may be required.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics.
Salary
N70,000 – N120,000 / month.
