Job Summary

The Financial Planning and Reporting Lead is responsible for overseeing the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions. The role supports strategic decision-making by ensuring financial data is accurate, timely, and aligned with business goals. This position plays a key role in performance analysis, board reporting, and financial compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and rolling financial plans
  • Develop financial models and dashboards for business planning
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management and statutory reports
  • Provide financial insights related to cash flow, cost control, and profitability
  • Improve financial reporting tools and maintain reporting templates
  • Ensure data accuracy and oversee ERP/reporting system enhancements
  • Deliver strategic recommendations based on financial performance and trends
  • Track performance versus budget and conduct variance analysis
  • Support external audit processes and ensure financial compliance
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure alignment between financial plans and operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • ACA or ACCA certification is required
  • Experience in board or investor-level reporting is desirable
  • Experience in ERP implementation or upgrade
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in FP&A, reporting, or audit
  • Experience in Oil & Gas or similar sectors preferred
  • MBA or Master’s in Finance is an advantage
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and Excel
