- Monthly payments of 934 euros.
- Payments towards health, accident, and personal liability insurance.

- Monthly rent subsidy.
- Monthly allowance for accompanying family members.
- Subsidy for additional costs due to disability or chronic illness.
- Reimbursement of carbon offset payments for air travel.
For those needing to improve their language skills, the DAAD offers:
- Payment for an online language course after receiving the Scholarship Award Letter.
- A German language course in Germany prior to the start of the study programme.
- An allowance for a German language course during the scholarship period.
- Reimbursement for a TestDaF or DSH test fee.
