CDCFIB Recruitment Portal Fully Functional, Missing LGA Issues Fixed; Apply Now

Recruitment Portal Now Fully Functional CDCFIB Addresses Missing LGAs, Urges Applicants to Proceed

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has confirmed that its recruitment portal is now fully functional, following last week’s technical suspension. The board is now encouraging all applicants to proceed with their applications, especially those who were previously hindered by missing local government areas (LGAs) in the online form.

In a new statement, the CDCFIB said the technical challenges that led to the suspension were linked to the overwhelming number of applicants trying to access the platform at the same time. The system has now been upgraded to manage the high volume and ensure every eligible Nigerian can submit their application without stress.

Applicants who previously encountered difficulties selecting their local government of origin due to omissions in the portal can now revisit the website. The board says work is ongoing to add missing LGAs to the system.

“While some candidates were unable to proceed with applications due to missing or unlisted local government areas, CDCFIB assures that immediate action is being taken to rectify this issue,” the board stated.

The recruitment covers four major paramilitary services under the Ministry of Interior:

  • Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
  • Nigerian Correctional Service
  • Nigeria Immigration Service
  • Federal Fire Service

Candidates are urged to log on to the portal https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng and complete their application before the deadline.

The board also used the opportunity to re-emphasize its commitment to a transparent and merit-driven recruitment process, assuring all applicants that no favouritism or shortcuts will be tolerated.

“We remain committed to providing equal opportunity for all Nigerians. The application process will be open, fair, and strictly based on merit,” the board added.

Applicants are advised to fill in all necessary details accurately, upload required documents, and avoid submitting multiple entries, which may lead to automatic disqualification.
