Job Description

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the smooth execution of Slum2School’s Digital Future Initiative (DFI) across schools and communities. This includes planning, coordinating, and monitoring digital training sessions, stakeholder relationships, and team performance, with a strong focus on youth engagement and technology integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of all DFI project components across designated locations
  • Coordinate training for digital facilitators, volunteers, and teacher trainers
  • Oversee logistics for digital literacy trainings, hackathons, and demo sessions
  • Manage project timelines to ensure milestones are met within budget and scope
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders and partners
  • Monitor learner engagement using tools, surveys, and analytics
  • Troubleshoot project issues alongside technical and stakeholder teams
  • Document project activities, reports, assessments, and communication materials
  • Collaborate with M&E team to produce impact reports
  • Supervise facilitators and interns under the DFI project
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, EdTech, or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital education or tech project coordination
  • Knowledge of digital literacy, AI, STEM, and emerging technologies
  • Experience working with youth in underserved communities is a strong advantage
  • Proficient in tools like Google Workspace, Trello, Asana, or Notion
  • Technical knowledge in at least one area (e.g., coding, AI, STEM, robotics)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous volunteer experience with Slum2School (minimum 2 years) is highly desirable
