Job Description

RY Projects, through Amy Consulting, is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee their financial operations and support the growth of its business through sound financial management, operational oversight, and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

Management & Accounting

  • Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Maintain the general ledger and oversee reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (taxes, PAYE, VAT, etc.)
  • Lead budget planning, cash flow forecasting, and expense tracking

Strategy & Reporting

  • Provide key financial insights to support decision-making
  • Analyze business performance and recommend cost-saving strategies
  • Collaborate with management on business planning, expansion, and investment reviews

Digital Tools & Efficiency

  • Leverage digital tools to improve workflow, reporting, and data management
  • Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, etc.) efficiently
  • Create and automate reporting dashboards for real-time visibility

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day business operations across departments
  • Ensure internal processes are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Monitor inventory, vendor management, and logistics where applicable
  • Work closely with team leads to ensure alignment of financials with operational realities

Requirements

  • B.Sc./HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strategic mindset
  • 6 – 10 years proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in real estate or architecture
  • Professional certification (ACCA, ICAN, CPA, etc.) is highly desirable
