Job Summary

  • The Generator Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators to ensure continuous and reliable power supply. This role involves conducting regular inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs on diesel generators.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service history.
  • Ensure daily housekeeping of the work environment before and after operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform additional maintenance tasks as assigned by management.
  • Assist in other maintenance activities as needed to support overall plant operations.
  • Conduct daily inspections of generators and associated equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Identify potential issues and report them to management for prompt resolution.
  • Implement and adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure optimal generator performance.

Salary: N90,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
