We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lead, Terminal Representative

Location: Nigeria
Department: Gen Engineering

Objectives

  • To monitor and supervise Terminal Operation (Production and lifting operations) on behalf of the Federal Government

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive marketing clearance (loading instruction from zonal office) by mail, fax or telephone
  • Participate in the pre - loading and after loading fiscalization of Liquid Petroleum
  • Sign tankers arrival information form for all tankers prior to loading as long as it conforms with tanker schedule of the monthly report on terminal activities
  • Check and sign certificate of quantity jointly prepared but issued by department of Petroleum Resources
  • Raise sailing advice on all vessel loading in the terminals within 24 hrs after loading and transmitting same to Lagos
  • Checks all shipping documents and ensuring that all liftings conform with the requirements of both the customers and NNPC
  • Calculate and determine the gross and net quantity of crude loaded and reconciled with terminal operator and NUPRC representative
  • Prepare tanker sailing advice within 24 hours after loading for transmission to Head office
  • Collect shipping documents and check for errors and omissions
  • Sign all relevant and necessary shipping documents where applicable
  • Return shipping documents to operator for final processing
  • Collect the corrected shipping documents from the operator for onward delivery to the zonal office
  • Record details of loadings in the register, a computer and onto a cloud based storage
  • Make copies of shipping documents for filing in the terminal
  • Provide timely and quality reports on the activities of the Unit to the Terminal Operations Supervisor, PH Zone

Educational Qualification

  • A Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Social Science related course is required
  • Professional Qualification will be added advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 9 years relevant post qualification experience
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.
